VAG Gearbox Mileage Blocker is device which can slow down the mileage recording on a vehicle and ensure the same reading across all control modules.
We introduce to our clients this brand new product for various VAG vehicles designated for vehicles all over the world. This device is compatible with vehicles listed below and allows usage of Mileage Blockers be 100% untraceable to people and sophisticated diagnostic equipment.
It is know that vehicles are equipped with various data storage units. Numerous types of modules are responsible for handling mileage-related data and virtual cockpit value may sometimes differ from the gearbox control module. Some diagnostic testers, including these used at dealerships, can pick up the discrepancies between main odometer and transmission control module during the vehicle’s health check. To prevent this and ensure the same odomoter value is displayed on the instrument cluster and OBD scanner, you must install OBD2 intelligent mileage blocker.
Correct functionality of our solution has been tested and proven with diagnostic testers such as VCDS, Autel, Launch and Odis. If you want to make sure that diagnostic testers display the same mileage as on the dashboard odometer you will need a gearbox mileage blocker. This tool is an essential tool that makes sure speedometer displays the same mileage as it is recorded in other control modules.

FAQ – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can diagnostic equipment detect it?
– When Gearbox OBD Blocker is installed on your VW or Seat, diagnostic testers become useless in finding any discrepancy in odometer records imported from different control units. Our module has been tested against all diagnostic testers including VCDS, Autel, Odis, and Snap On and more.
What is Mileage Blocker and Canbus?
– Canbus is the spinal cord that connects many modules or computers throughout your vehicle together and allows them to operate as a ‘cohesive’ team. Our devices include this same level of vehicle-wide computer integration as Electronic Control Units in your car. A Mileage Blocker with its Canbus connection can read virtually every set of data including critical internal calculations like fuel trims, driving speeds mileage data and change these values to suit your requirements.
How does it work?
– Our module makes sure that the mileage-related data doesn’t exceed the figures provided on the speedometer. Using diagnostic testers to check the actual mileage of the car from ECUs is a common practice. Hence, if you want to make sure that mileage-related data is not contradictory in different control modules, you need to use our device which overwrite can-bus messages sent to a diagnostic tester.
Should I remove the OBD2 blocker?
– It is not recommended to remove the OBD2 mileage blocker from the vehicle. The OBD2 blocker for DSG transmission reading via diagnostic equipment has to be installed permanently as it will make the gearbox control module odometer value correct for as long as the device is installed and connected.
Are there warning lights?
– There are no error messages on the dashboard or instrument cluster of the car. However, sometimes it is recommended to preventively delete any error codes from memory of the car after removal of Mileage Blocker. CAN Communication Network may occasionally save interruption messages as error messages. These are sporadic errors that do not need to be deleted, but it may be recommended.
For the mode that alters the mileage entirely, we allow a deviation of up to 1% of the driven distance. Provided details about stopped mileage are only approximations, and there might be such minor differences.
Our Mileage Blocker not only stops counting covered distance in all memories of a vehicle but also automatically corrects the service. The only part which isn’t stopped while using the tool is „Service“. It is still counted down but does not record any mileage until 30% remains. If there remains 30% before the due date, it automatically jumps back up to 90%. If it’s pushed back up to 90% from 30%, before a message was sent, then that service reset is not recorded.
Each service is counted down from the traveled distance time. The service interval for a vehicle is structured like this. As a rule, a service must be made in every 30,000 km for diesel and 15,000 for petrol. The service is counted down while driving. If you drove 1,000 km then the next service would be in 29,000 km. If you stop mileage, then the service shouldn’t count down, but it still continues working until it reaches 30%. In the case of 30,000km, the remaining 30% is equal to 9,000 km.
When the kilometre stopper is active, it automatically pushes the service back up to 90% i.e. to 27,000km. The abovementioned numbers are not 100% correct, because many engines have different service intervals, but the percentages are correct.
Change modes via smartphone app or press the BC button for 10 seconds
Repeat the process to switch from mode to mode
All percentages of the distance driven are approximate and not binding because they are influenced by the environment ( city/ traffic jam/ highway). And only after a longer distance of approx. 100 km / mi can you see what percentage was actually counted.
Mode 1
1. Vehicle till 2019 and without update and the live cockpit: Speed display works and the Mileage counting is stopped. 1. Vehicle: Speed = original, Counting miles approx 0-1%. Works only with models until 2019, without Update and the Live Cockpit.
Mode 2
No speed and the mileage counting is stopped for all vehicles
Mode 3
Speed display works and the miles count is reduced to 30%.
Interval count: stop 1 minute, count 15 seconds, repeat. 30 % is a guide value. The driving environment determines the count. Works independently of software updates for all vehicles until 2023. The indicator: Turn light x3 flashes only inside the vehicle
Mode 4
Speed display works and the miles count is reduced to 40%.
Interval count: stop 50 sec, count 20 seconds, repeat. 40 % is a guide value. The driving environment determines the count. Works independently of software updates for all vehicles until 2023. The indicator: Turn light x4 flashes only inside the vehicle
Mode 5
The kilometres are counted at 100%
The module is deactivated, the speedometer and the odometer work as usual.
BMW Z4 G29 Mileage Blocker tool always maintains the last applied settings. Hence, you don’t have to change the settings before starting a car next time.
The device can be activated or deactivated, either while in motion (only for certain vehicles) or when stationary.
This device is designed only for off-road use and dyno testing and not for fraudulent purposes i.e use on the public road
